Thank you for making 2024 another great year for Upward basketball!

As hard as it is to believe, Upward 2024 has come and gone! Thank you to all our volunteers for all the hours of sacrifice you poured into this ministry to make this another great year for Upward Basketball at Stonington Baptist Church.

From the coaches to the devotional speakers to the refs to the kitchen workers to the scoreboard operators to the greeters and everyone in between, this is truly a team effort!

We couldn’t do it without you!

Thank you for helping us share the gospel of Jesus Christ through the avenue of sports.

Upward Basketball is about family.

Children are given opportunities to be active, learn, and have fun, while also learning about life by understanding God’s plan for their life.

WHOLE PERSON

The whole athlete is engaged in learning a sport and knowledge from God that applies to life.

FUN

Playing a sport is about having fun while learning the fundamentals to gain confidence.

HEALTHY COMPETITION

Playing a sport is about giving your best effort during competition while respecting your opponents, coaches, and officials.
